Description
A tumbler holding about 270 ml, thrown on a wheel, made of Toffee clay. Dripping glaze effect outside.
NOTE: A glaze defect inside (“bare” spot).
The pot is made of non-porous clay and fired at a high enough temperature to guarantee ceramic mass to be well sealed (so it does not absorb water/detergents). Suitable for washing in the dishwasher. Made of food safe materials.
It’s not intended and unlikely, but if during use you notice that the glaze coating has little, hair-like cracks – consider not using the pot for food or sterilize it regularly (e.g. by washing in a dishwasher). Even though the pot does not contain toxic substances, small cracks may collect food residue and encourage some microorganisms to grow there -although, there was a research confirming that simple dishwasher prevents this to happen. This maintenance advice is applicable to any pottery, not only mine 🙂

I make the items by hand, so they are not perfectly even and smooth, and no two pieces are identical. The appearance of the product is visible in the photos and sometimes the attached video. If something isn’t visible or looks suspicious – ask!
